2022 Nissan Frontier Powertrain and Towing

Towing Capacity
The 2022 Frontier has different towing capacities depending on the configuration you choose. They are:
- King Cab – 6,720 lbs
- Crew Cab – 6,570 lbs
- Crew Cab Long Bed – 6,460 lbs

Powertrain Specs
The 2022 Frontier is powered by a 3.8L V6 engine. It produces 310 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a nine-speed automatic. No other transmissions or engine are available. All 2022 Frontier trims are available in either RWD or 4×4, excluding the Pro-4X trim that comes standard with 4×4.
Off-Road Features
The Pro-4X trim comes with a lot of great off-road features, including the Intelligent Around View® Monitor with off-road mode, hill descent control, hill start assist, active brake limited slip, a real-time tire monitor, and off-road gauges. It also has off-road tires, Bilstein shocks, three separate skid plates, and an electronic locking rear differential.
