This year, the Civic Type R hatchback returns to the lineup with increased performance. The most frequently recommended is the well-equipped EX grade on the sedan model, which has many extra options and easily justifies the price premium. These comforts include heated outside mirrors, a power sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, blind-spot monitoring, and heated front seats. The more potent 180-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine is also included as standard. If you're buying the hatchback, we recommend the EX-L, which has more leather upholstery and equivalent amenities.
